Richard Orlando, FounderĀ & Instructor

For the past twenty-five years, Dr. Orlando has sat at boardroom tables and kitchen tables alike, advising high and ultra-high net worth client-families—many at the helm of a family enterprise—as well as training thousands of advisors to build upon financial advising to include the qualitative, multigenerational planning needs of their client-families.

Prior to foundingĀ Legacy Capitals, Dr. Orlando led Merrill Lynch’s Global Practice Management Consulting Group for fifteen years and served in Merrill’s Family Office. He has been referenced in numerous publications, including The New York Times, Bloomberg Business, and The Wall Street Journal online, among others.

His interdisciplinary background includes computer science, business, and psychology. After earning a Bachelor of Science in computer science and business from St. John’s University, he pursued a career on Wall Street, earning his Series 7 and 63 licenses. Returning to school, he received a master’s degree in counseling/theology from Trinity International University, then a doctorate in family systems from Seton Hall University with a dissertation on wealth management family teams.

Dr. Orlando is an approved instructor for the Investments & Wealth Institute’s Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) Certification Program, a faculty member of the UHNW Institute, holds a certificate in family wealth advising from the Family Firm Institute, and is certified as a professional coach from the International Coach Federation’s accredited program.

Additionally, he is the author ofĀ Legacy: The Hidden Keys to Optimizing Your Family Wealth DecisionsĀ andĀ Love Your Clients: the tale of the Whole Family AdvisorĀ®. Dr. Orlando sits on the board of directors for Urban Hope in Staten Island. Born and raised in New York City, he resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with his wife and children.

Christin McClave, Legacy Enterprise Consultant & Coach

Christin Cardone McClave brings over 25 years of executive leadership and board experience in family businesses and public companies to Legacy Capitals. She served as COO and CHRO at CARDONE Industries, a third-generation family enterprise with $1.2 billion in revenue and 5,000 employees. As a family shareholder and seasoned executive, Christin played a key role in navigating CARDONE through a complex generational transition, driving organizational transformation, and positioning the company for a successful acquisition by a global private equity firm in 2019. Her expertise in blending family values with strategic innovation has made her a trusted advisor and coach to multi-generational family enterprises.

Christin serves on the boards of both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons and pursuing her passions for health and wellness, skiing, and traveling.

Kaley Hudson, Legacy Consultant & Coach, Director of Family Learning

Kaley Hudson brings nearly a decade of experience serving ultra-high-net-worth families and their advisors. She serves as a coach, consultant, and Director of Family Learning at Legacy Capitals, specializing in developing and delivering engaging learning experiences, most notably herĀ Financial FitnessĀ program for young adults. In her work, she strives to empower family members to develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to steward wealth with purpose and thrive in all aspects of life.

Kaley graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and considers herself as a lifelong learner. She is a certified coach through the Co-Active Training Institute, holds dual certifications as a Certified Family Wealth Advisor (CFWA) and Certified Family Business Advisor (CFBA) from the Family Firm Institute, is certified in Personal Finance Coaching through the Financial Coach Academy, and completed a Personal & Family Financial Planning certificate through the University of Florida.

Kaley lives in South Florida with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, baking sourdough, and cheering on her alma mater.

Hallie Gaudio, Manager of Marketing & Client Experience

Hallie Gaudio works with the Legacy Capitals team on marketing, communication, and user and client experience. Hallie also supports administrative operations, membership development, and special projects. Hallie has a background in program management and marketing and enjoys using these skills to support the mission of Legacy Capitals.

Hallie graduated from Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She then went on to earn her Master’s of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.Ā

Lauren Blatz, Manager of Academy Platform

Lauren is the Manager of the Legacy Capitals Academy Platform. In this role Lauren is responsible for memberships, content development, and the overall online client experience.

During her almost ten years working at GenSpring Family Offices, Lauren worked with successful families to prepare their rising generation family members for various roles and transitions in life. Lauren developed and delivered educational programs focused on financial and wealth education, family communication, and personal and career development. In addition to graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, Lauren is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and certified coach with the Co-Active Training Institute. Lauren and her family presently reside in Florida
